Volunteer at the 2026 AMM Conference

Each year, the Association of Midwest Museums brings together museum professionals, volunteers, students, and cultural leaders from across the Midwest to learn from one another, share ideas, and strengthen our field. The 2026 AMM Conference will take place in downtown Chicago at the Marriott Marquis Chicago.

This year’s gathering will feature several days of educational sessions, workshops, tours, networking events, and community-building opportunities designed to support museums of all sizes and disciplines.

Volunteers play an important role in making the conference welcoming, organized, and engaging for everyone involved. From helping with registration and breakout sessions to supporting evening events and virtual programming, volunteers help create a smooth and memorable experience for participants.
